Long awaited renovations at Devils Lake Hospital underway
Devils Lake Mayor Jim Moe and CHI St. Alexius Hospital Devils Lake President Mariann Doeling pose with hospital staff at the ribbon cutting ceremony held Monday, Oct. 21 to celebrate the completion of Phase 1A of the renovations to the hospital’s Emergency Department. As of 10 p.m. Monday, the new and improved portion of the Emergency Room was open for business as Phase 1B begins. That phase involves renovating the former Emergency Room space to match the new. Ahead of schedule, both Moe’s and Doeling’s comments Monday were optimistic and upbeat. Below, the Devils Lake Chamber Ambassadors joined Moe and Doeling to actually cut the ribbon to officially open the new Emergency Department space.
