Brody Forsberg will part Devils Lake with one last award.

Forsberg, a senior goalie, was named to the All-State Team announced Thursday. It was his second straight year to receive the honor.

Forsberg tallied over 1,070 minutes this season and had a save rate of 91.3% (726 in 795 chances). He allowed 3.27 goals per game with nine wins and 13 losses.

He was one of three goalies named to the team, along with Bode Ekblad from Williston and Westin Nielsen from the state champion, Grand Forks Central. Both had lower save percentages than Forsberg.

The Outstanding Senior Athlete award went to Minot forward Mackley Morelli.

It was an up-and-down season for the Firebirds, who pulled off thrilling wins over teams like Central and West Fargo but eventually fell in a state qualifier game to Fargo Davies.

Forsberg, who was also an all-conference linebacker on the football team, is yet to announce his college plans.
